Funding was sought from the private sector, however the response was minimal.
Other Rotary Clubs were contacted and we were delighted when the project eventually progressed through funding from the Rotary Club of Thornlie and the Rotary Club of Belmont, together with a substantial generous contribution from Jean and Stan Perron through their family charitable trust.
Stan Perron is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a long standing member of the Rotary Club of Belmont. His interest in Rotary, the community and his general philanthropy is well known throughout Western Australia.
